Chris Cobb, an artist based in San Francisco, has created an amazing installation in bookshop called Adobe Books- he catalogued every single one of the 20,000 books by color. The project is titled There is Nothing Wrong in This Whole Wide World. They were arranged by hand over a 10 hour period, and he enlisted the help of 16 volunteers. Such beautiful results, they transformed the bookshop overnight.

Don’t worry! I’m sure they thought ahead and created an exhaustive searchable catalog with range and shelf numbers so the collection was just as accessible as it was beautiful.

I do have my limits though. One of my customers bought this movie for me several years ago because we shared the Timothy Olyphant adoration and I have yet to watch it because no matter how much I love an actor I just can’t watch a rom-com, or anything predominantly rom.

I watched this because I love Kevin Smith so. Instant regret.

What I do do (teehee) is scroll back about a week’s worth of tumblr to see what I’ve missed (omg congratulations Chris and Jocelyn, that’s effing awesome right there).

And I’ve been super proactive towards the whole moving thing (I’d better, only about a week to go) and another Big Project that’s been driving me nuts lately.

And I’ve lost weight! Without any dramatic measures, just eating healthy (and not quite as much). I really want to start trying on my motivation pants from a few years ago but I realise I may still have a few kilos to go.

I wish it was spring. I’ve had it up to here (you can’t see it but I’m pointing right between my eyes) with this snow and shit. At least the sun is coming back out, I love lurking in the darkness but getting shit done is so much easier in daylight.

It’s Wednesday, right?

In the last couple of days I’ve gone from “I should probably start thinking about moving” to “I’m moving in less than a month, I should probably start preparing for that”.

There was a power outage today. That very rarely happens. It could have been relaxing. No way to do anything productive, just have to sit down and… what? It was too dark to read and I didn’t want to open the fridge and let the cold slip out. It felt like I had been sitting in the dark for forever when the lights finally came back on, twenty minutes later.

I have Pinterest. I pay no attention to other people’s boards but it seems like a nice place to store the hair, makeup and interior design related ideas I see and like online. I pin a lot of interior shit. I was watching the Marina Abramovic documentary The Artist Is Present and had to stop in the middle of it to find pictures of her kitchen to pin. It was a cool kitchen. It was a really good documentary too.

I’m terrible at cooking for one. It seems so pointless.

I hate people who take over 24 hours to answer to business emails. Thanks, but I already took my business elsewhere.

I made a list of stuff to do in the next week (mostly moving related but other stuff too). They say making lists of small goals helps to make them achievable. I look at the list and feel slightly overwhelmed.

I feel slightly overwhelmed about a lot of things lately.
